Now that CNBC is talking openly about how virtually no western company stopped doing business in Russia, can I post these ridiculous screenshot off mercedes-benz.ru here?

  1. Sure you can, they are gaudy as f, i had a chuckle at how weird rich Russians are, but i am curious, what’s it got to do with Poland?

Edit: op thinks Poland cooperated with Nazis and Russians in ww2. Downvote and move on.

    > with Polish people once more being supposedly governed by sovereign, patriotic rulers actually in service of Germany and Russia, much like during and after WWII

  2. You know that neither Poland, nor any country that has a Mercedes factory, has nothing to do with Mercedes saying in Russia? If the product is not a strategic good, which luxury cars aren’t, no government can stop a privately owned company to leave a market. Especially if that company is not registered in that country. And because it is a legal duty of a CEO to maximise profits of a company, no-one in their right mind will leave a market full of disgustingly rich people, even if these people would murder puppies 24/7. Poland is doing what it can. Accusations like this should be directed straight to Mercedes offices, not countries that just happen to have a factory im their territory, that they don’t even own

  3. The current view count is **6.7 thousand views** and the **upvote rate is 45%**. So a big thank you to nearly half of all voters that silently realize what a perverse, ostentatiously dissonant injustice and offence is occurring, being forcibly imposed and portrayed as reasonable by those in power, at the expense of regular citizens.

Unless it’s a triumph of commerce and enterprise! It’s possible!
