Apologies for the crappy low light/digital noise zoom – my dogs were going bananas as a pair of deer were feeding in my garden. I had to snap this pretty quickly. The deer did well to hold its ground and stare them down with three huskies baying for blood at the windows.

  1. Meanwhile, the deer in my garden thinks the cat is some weird kind of fawn and tries to be friends. It’s funnier in the spring when they bring their fawns and they try to play with the cat.

The cat is reasonably terrified of deer, badgers, and dogs. He also dislikes birds because they try to steal his fur while he sunbathes for their nests. I am unaware of his relationship to the squirrels, but as a 14 year old cat, he isn’t climbing many trees.

  2. Every now and then there are a family who hangs out on our garden bec of a big berry tree there. Just this past week a moose was there as well. Kinda cool.
