MOMENT Driver crashes into snowplow after losing control on icy road.
Transport officials in New York released dramatic dashcam video showing a motorist passing a semi-truck on a snow-covered, two-lane road and colliding head-on with a snowplow in the North Country on January 16.
The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) said it was fortunate that one was injured in the crash, and urged motorists to avoid passing other vehicles “when roads are covered in snow and slush.”

Wow!!!! An 1,800-2,000 pound (Im American) car diverted the path of a 12-15 ton (24,000-30,000 pound) vehicle….the sheer amount of kinetic energy dispursed definitely resulted in the fatality of the car passenger(s) on the impact side of the vehicle….I was a paramedic dedicated to the busiest Interstate interchange in the American Midwest for many years…this was a catastrophic collision!!!😢
