The gunmen burst into the headquarters of the TC Televisión network in Ecuador’s largest city, Guayaquil. Ecuador’s police were deployed to the station, eventually recapturing the building.

The storming of the station comes amid a spate of organised nationwide attacks by criminal groups across Ecuador. On Monday, the country’s new president, Daniel Noboa, declared a state of emergency after the escape of the country’s most dangerous gang leader.

  1. They will blame this on american gun laws. Then when the ban all guns in america like canada & mexico.. they will say its just gonna take more time because of all the gunz on the streetz from before banning all guns in America 🙄. Shocker. Meanwhile CNN still protected by ar15s

  2. The "news" has a lot of explaining to do. We now live in a world with news 24 hours a day.
Rather than blaming music and video games for violence, we should focus on how real life is broadcasted.
It's just wars, murders, rapes, corruption, and drugs, lots of 24. Twenty-four hours a day. Not a lot of hope there.

  3. thank you for not having announcers read copy so I can just see the clip when the other 40 results are all filled with unnecessary shots of the newscaster I don't need to hear so I can watch my 1 minute clip
