US still opposes a ceasefire in Gaza, says White House national security spokesperson

We still oppose a general ceasefire yes for the same reason that we have in the past we don’t believe a ceasefire um is going to be to the benefit of anybody but Hamas uh we do support humanitarian posits as I said to try to get hostages

Out and more Aid in uh but we don’t support a ceasefire at this time I think it’s important to remember that there was a ceasefire in place on the 6th of October and Hamas Mr senoir Mr sin chose to break that ceasefire he’s the one that chose chose

This war there was a ceasefire which we obviously weren’t support of and Hamas chose to break it

John Kirby said the US still opposes a ceasefire in Gaza amid growing pressure on the Biden administration to push for an end to fighting as the death toll passed 24,000 people. Kirby said: ‘We don’t believe a ceasefire is going to be to the benefit of anybody but Hamas. We do support humanitarian pauses, as I said, to try to get hostages out and more aid in. But we don’t support a ceasefire at this time’

  1. Netanyahu claims that he has moved to the third stage in his war, but he is lying because in reality he jumped from the first hole to directly to the third, like a gerbille. He's obsessed with digging…

  2. John Kirby you are complicit in Genocide~ John Kirby…you are leaving out some facts….like the leaders of Israel knew a year in advance about the planned Hamas action..Israel had a printed copy of the action..the leaders ignored it….why did they ignore it…mmm? maybe as an excuse to commit genocide of the Palestinians~ John you are complicit in Genocide~

  3. Hamas proudly stated that it "will repeat 7/10 over and over." Some people really think one side of the war have the right to commit atrocities while the other should sit quietly and take it. Losing side are not necessarily victims.

  4. What was and currently is in place is an OCCUPATION. There is no freedom for Palestinians under these despicable conditions. They have the right to be a sovereign state. They have the right to live freely and to have a military just like every other country. Stop interfering in their self determination. You cannot oppress people and call that PEACE or humane.

  5. American military bombs /American money financing exterminating of the Palestinian people.. 45% of Population of Gazza are children .
12,000 slaughtered Palestinian Children10,000 orphaned Palestinian children
8,5000 children with limbs amputated some with no anaesthetic due to deliberate bombing of hospitals and stopping any medical aid from reaching what's left of the hospitals .

  6. It's clear the US secretary is uncomfortable with every word he is saying because all of it goes against his and general US principles. There are powerful politics at work here behind the scenes to make the US say these things in opposition to the rest of the world.

  8. We don't believe in general ceasefire -> translates -> We believe in war, and we think war is the only solution. Dear white house, do you hear what you are saying?

  9. Message from the child of Ga@za to the powerful

<<< By defending my executioner, you make me die doubly.

"He took my Life, you take my Soul".

<< You, who was his aggressor, do you think you can erase your past crimes by helping him make me his victim >>?

<<< And you, who supported and defended him in the name of justice, Why don't you do it for me?

How am I different that I do not deserve, at least out of humanity, your compassion?

  10. I see that the USA are still accepting (donations) from Israel i advise anyone to go watch the channel 4 documentary called inside Britains Israeli lobby and imagine after ten years they have also spread there influence across the pond

  11. The statement from the White House spokesperson, John Kirby, indicating the U.S. desire for a temporary ceasefire to release prisoners held by the resistance, but not supporting a permanent ceasefire, is interpreted as creating political and military conditions favorable for Israel to continue killing Palestinians. The Arab street is convinced that Western powers do not value their lives, and Kirby's statement is seen as a semi-direct admission of advanced racism and inhumanity.

The belief is that Washington is indifferent to the fate of Gaza's population, and any statements from U.S. officials are viewed as maneuvers to buy time and alleviate some of the escalating global pressure. The remarks made by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the Davos Economic Summit in Switzerland, expressing sorrow for Gaza, are perceived as lacking sincerity.

Even if the resistance were to accept such an offer, it is believed that the Biden administration would continue making statements to appear concerned about reducing civilian casualties while maintaining a significant death toll. The focus would be on minimizing the daily number of civilian deaths, allowing the White House officials to sleep more comfortably, and Kirby to wear stylish neckties in future press conferences.

Washington is seen as not caring about the tragic toll on Palestinian civilian lives, and it is anticipated that Kirby and Blinken will continue making statements with the coldness of killers.
