Dakota Johnson’s perfect stunt driving | The Graham Norton Show – BBC

Did you have to like train up for stunts and things I did I did a day of stunt driving which was like the most fun ever I grew up you only just one day I did one day yeah I grew up on a ranch in Colorado and I learned how to drive like

Anything when I was nine I could drive anything I could drive a manual car a tractor a motorcycle a car whatever at nine: yeah and I’d like take the car to my friend’s house at 9: yeah like your friends here to pick you up

But I did a day of stunt driving and it was like the most fun I’ve ever had I loved it okay cuz you sent us a clip I can’t believe it’s just one day so so this is the clip this is Dakota Johnson so you’re in you’re driving this car yes

I’m driving that car and the Blue Barrel is meant to be what the camera would have been so I was meant to do this stunt to get the car to end up where where it is yeah so you do you’re supposed to do a handbrake turn and if

God was good then the the trunk of the the car would end up right here yeah okay so how many gos did you do with this I mean I don’t know but this is one of them this is one of them and I thought you’d be there for a week but no

This is one day okay here we go uh here she comes okay [Applause] y yeah I thought was a very impressive do you get a certificate or something I feel like I should get an Oscar

Graham shows a clip of Dakota Johnson completing a perfect handbrake turn after a day of stunt driving. Dakota jokes after that her driving skills deserve an Oscar.

Together on Graham’s sofa tonight: Sterling K Brown (Randall from This is Us), starring in the critically acclaimed satire American Fiction; Fifty Shades star Dakota Johnson, joining the Marvel Universe as Madame Web; Oscar-nominated Colman Domingo, playing the title role of the civil rights activist in Rustin; and Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter, Star Wars), in new Channel 4 romantic drama series Alice & Jack. With music from Paul Russell, who performs his current single, the viral hit Lil Boo Thang.

  1. Yup I could at 11 yr old
The neighbor girl she stood on pickup seat was 7 yrs old( couldn't see over dash while driving) drove pickup in hay field with hay wagon
While her dad picked up small hay bales & thru on trailer
….at 65 I and one other woman at a local sale barn only 2 women bidding in 98% male farmers then haul it (hay) ourselves. I don't see women hauling livestock in at the 2 local sale barns either. I've hauled my own stuff for years. Worked as a RN on nights & farmed with my dad during the day. I & 2 20 yr old sons still on farm & I still do all the hauling.

  2. She's Don Johnson's daughter – Miami Vice, Nash Bridges… She should be able to drive! I just want to know if her Dad ever let her drive the Cudda.

  3. Dakota is absolutely delightful perfect guest for the night so fresh love her gentleness and sense of humour cant wait for Madam Web..So like her talented Father 😍 ❤🇦🇺
