Emitting vast amounts of radiation this quazar known as J 0529 4351 is 12 billion light years away the black hole at its Center 17 billion times the mass of our sun it’s a cre disc pouring out 500 trillion times the Sun’s light the team led by scientists at Australian National University
Confirmed their findings with help from the European Southern observatories Outpost in aracama Chile quazars emit light relative to the growth of their black hole and this is the fastest ever discovered devouring the equivalent of one Sun per day
Astronomers have discovered what may be the brightest object in the universe, a quasar with a black hole at its heart growing so fast that it swallows the equivalent of a sun a day. The record-breaking quasar shines 500 trillion times brighter than our sun. The black hole powering this distant quasar is more than 17 billion times more immense than our sun, an Australian-led team reported Monday in the journal Nature Astronomy.
