Princess Kate’s First Engagement After Abdominal Surgery Announced

The first engagement since the Princess of Wales abdominal surgery in January, has been announced.

Princess Catherine will attend the Trooping the Colours dress rehearsal on 8 June,  the Ministry of Defence has said.

The Princess of Wales was also pictured for the first time yesterday since her surgery.

An image taken of Princess Catherine being driven by her mother near Windsor was published by TMZ, after the palace appealed for her to be able to recover in private.

UK media organisations are respecting the royals’ wishes by not releasing the photo.

    Not typical for the royal family especially if it is Harry. He drives most people bonkers.

  30. Princess Catherine, The Public wait eagerly for your visits with us. Sightings of your pretty face will be enough for a time. We want to know you are doing well. But most of all we want to know you are fully recovered. I had surgery through my abdomen and it took nine months for a full recovery. I broke my leg the first weekend out of hospital so it slowed down my progress. I’m clumsy and heavier than you are so don’t be discouraged. We miss you and William misses his companion. Take care of yourself.
