  2. “ sick “

Don’t care if it’s harsh. It’s because of social media and screens and idiotic peer pressure it causes. They all think they need to be seen heard or noticed in the world, they all think they need to be special or different or recognised.

  3. Funny how the more awareness we push for mental health the worse it gets. Seems like we need to shut up about it and tell them to man up and stop moaning all the time.

  4. What is needed is the society to be collectively sensitive towards people who are struggling with mental health. Due to the stigma associated with mental illness many people hesitate to seek help and worry about what people will think of them. It's about time society is educated towards an issue which has an impact on the lives of those who struggle daily.

  5. It’s two things. It’s called being lazy for the young people and from the old people it’s called ghost jobs that they put out with the intention of not hiring to over inflate the job growth

  6. Okay first things first, bi polar disorder isn’t depression and under no circumstances should someone with the disorder take anti depressants. My medication is Sodium Valporate which is actually used for epilepsy but can be used for other things.

  7. It is the system, young kids are depressed 😭 because it is hard to be young these days. It is expensive to do anything or go to college. Housing is expensive, so they are still living at home. The kids don't have the same freedom, we did when we were kids. Cars, apartments, groceries were at a lower cost, so we could be on our own. It's not easy to find yourself around mom and dad, or someone who takes care of their place. Let us hope for a better life for depressed young people. ❤❤❤❤

  8. It’s hard to being in your late 40s with mental health conditions ,when we have kids to provide for,
Mortgages and bills to pay and all the help available seems to be when we’re in work so we can’t access it.

  9. Probably population overshoot and increasing chemical burden as the environment deteriorates and parenthood becomes increasingly tied to sociopathy and supremacy. The kind said the world must change and opted out.

  10. How reflective is this of people in their 40’s going to work ill or in a “bad mental health day” while feeling like they have no choice/ must “power through“ to make ends meet? I don’t think people in their 40s have better mental health… i think they feel they have less of a choice to be out of work and more stigma around getting help.

  11. It's social media…. My daughter and her brothers are the first generations to have been brought up with lots of mobile devices, and this is the main everyday change in their lives compared to the generations before

  12. The BBC as an organisation, negatively discriminate against the very demographic that has the highest self deletion rate in the UK. Maybe take a look in your own house there folks and realise you're part of the probelm.

  13. Yep. There have never been so many women reporting unhappiness in wellbeing surveys. They are finding out the hard way that 'living a man's life' isn't as much fun as they were told. Thanks for nothing feminism.
