It’s an image that could have quelled rumors but it has only added to them this photograph of Kate Princess of Wales surrounded by her three children was published to commemorate Mother’s Day in the UK it’s the first official photograph of the princess since her abdominal surgery January 6th credited
As taken by her husband the heir to the throne Prince William the picture was released after weeks of rumors online over the princess’s whereabouts and her health but following its initial publication several major news agents including Reuters AFP and AP issued what’s called a Kill Order or instructions to pull the image
Discrepancies had been found namely around princess Charlotte’s cuff and her mother’s clothes these areas of the image seem to have been photoshopped or altered as the child’s left hand does not align correctly news agencies regularly check the veracity of images Amit concerns over doctoring and fake AI photographs the princess issued AA kulpa
On social media like many amateur photographers I do occasionally experiment with editing I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused I hope everyone celebrating had a very Happy Mother’s Day with the princess absent from Royal duties until at least Easter Kensington
Palace has refrained from providing details over her health citing a right to privacy but it has confirmed she’s doing well meanwhile the palace has also had to juggle the absence of King Charles who’s not been able to carry out public duties due to a cancer diagnosis
Catherine, Princess of Wales on Monday apologised and admitted to editing an official portrait ofher released by the palace, after several major news agencies withdrew the image.
