Russian woman detained after pouring dye into ballot box

State investigators in Moscow said on Friday that they had opened a criminal case against a woman who poured dye into a ballot box to try to disrupt voting in the country’s presidential election.

CCTV footage of the incident obtained by Reuters shows a young woman depositing her voting slip before calmly pouring liquid into the transparent plastic ballot box. A police officer detains her immediately.

  1. protestors don't know the actual way of protesting. This is not gonna help in anyway to restore democracy in Russia. Actually, this is against it. Instead of protesting Putin they're protesting against democracy.

  2. I am trying to understand the title of this video. Like if that happened in my country and yours is considered legal and non-detainable ? Like I am literally scratching my head on this thing.

  3. I get her destroying her vote but isn’t she silencing the other votes in the box by destroying other votes. They could be for or against putin. Not very democratic
