Prisons in England and Wales are so full they’re letting prisoners out early here’s why they holding more and more people who haven’t even been convicted of a crime yet they’re waiting for their trial but they’re considered so dangerous they have to be kept in jail until the case finishes the number of
These remanded Prisoners has risen 75% since 2019 why because the court system is backed up thanks to covid strikes and funding Cuts all of which puts huge drain on Prison space so now the government will allow certain low-level offenders to leave prison up to 60 days earlier than planned the government says
It’s hiring up to 1,000 more judges to help the Court’s backlog and also it’s funding essential repairs in prisons
The government is extending a scheme that allows “low level” offenders to be released early from prison to help ease overcrowding.

Need to build more then don't they with the rising population…. Just the same as hospitals, schools and so on but they're just blaming it on the prisons being full…. So stupid
Make a prison on the water like a huge ship, loads of space out there. Or build a prison on an island. Britain is surrounded by them.
This has been a known problem that this government has ignored for so long.

Not only covid etc, the whole of the system is useless. Why because there is lack of good employment. Lack of good education, lack of morals and good homes, there are no more hospitals and institutions for those who can’t fit into normal society and lack of vision on how to help millions of people that only have media as a roll model.
