The Queen has begun a series of engagements in Northern Ireland, meeting business owners and staff at a shop on the bustling Lisburn Road in south Belfast on the second day of her stay in the region. Her Majesty arrived at Hillsborough Castle in Co Down on Wednesday evening, the royal residence in the region.

  9. I love tjat people bring their dogs to meet Queen Camilla bc they know she loves animals and her dogs are rescues. One of the things i respect about charles and camilla is that they have rescues

  11. I was a bit shocked to see that Queen Camilla had to negotiate the two stands for the baricades, as well as the kerb, while greeting people on the street. The last thing the Royal family need is for the Queen to fall and break a hip.

  12. I have read that when Franklin Roosevelt was President of the U.S., he couldn’t travel around the U.S. a lot because of his polio. So his wife Eleanor traveled everywhere and reported back to him. This reminds me of what Queen Camilla is doing to represent King Charles while he is undergoing the cancer treatment. Queen Camilla is a gem.

  14. I grew up in the days of Diana…when Camilla was one of the most loathed women because of her relationship with the then Prince Charles.
    I have to say, over the years, Camilla has really grown on me and I think has become, just like Catherine, a real asset to the Royal Family. She's doing a great job!

  20. Wonderful Camilla, she’s gone from being so nervous to displaying great confidence. Our King is fighting to recover his health, William is flat strap caring for his family and keeping his work up and Camilla has taken up the reins brilliantly! She actually looks quite at ease now! Well done your Royal Highness, very proud of you and I hope King Charles takes you on a lovely private holiday to rest up.
