Queen Camilla has visited the recently restored Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings where she met local volunteer groups including a food hub, she also unveiled a plaque to commemorate the event. Report by Matt Blair.

  16. Day after day I watch these videos and think of those who say the royal family does nothing for their allowance. As if it takes no preparation nor energy to call on different groups and leave them with a sense that their work is appreciated.
    Royalist or not the good work of caring is a big deal to all of us.

  31. The Queen is doing a marvellous job . Her Reading Club/Room initiative is worthy , important and excellent so I do hope that , to coin a ghastly phrase , she takes 5 minutes to “read the room” and express to The King the horror and disgust felt by so many people that an Islam flag is apparently , currently flying over Westminster Abbey . The Abbey is a Royal Peculiar so permission must have been granted by The King ? How to alienate people , it should be taken down immediately and Welby defrocked. Imo
