Moment major bridge collapses in the US city of Baltimore after it was hit by cargo ship

You on that breaking news um that we have here on Sky News relating to the bridge that has uh collapsed in Baltimore uh after a large boat collided with the bridge a portion of it um has now collapsed into the water is the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore

It’s collapsed after the large container boat collided with it early this morning reports came in uh early this morning that a large vessel crash into the bridge carrying North and southbound Lanes of Interstate 695 we’re told that it was catching on fire before sinking and causing multiple

Vehicles to fall in the Patapsco River below that’s the latest that we are hearing there’s the bridge intact and then shortly afterwards uh the bridge as you can see uh collapsed several Vehicles were on the bridge at the time

The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore has collapsed after a cargo ship collided with it. Baltimore City Fire Department has called it a “developing mass casualty event”

    Speaks of partial collapse when the entire bridge goes down in the water on the video.

    Can this gal retire already, there are 10x more talented newscasters that would kill for her position.

  10. Why on earth wasn’t road across bridge closed to all vehicular traffic after the ship struck a support, until structural safety checks could be done?
