  3. What does sexual orientation have to do with sport? Let people be people and have athletes be judged by the skills and determination not by who they fancy.

  11. why is that demographic so under-represented in sport though? Is it because the powers that be are actively preventing them (if so, why? is there proof of this?)

    or is it because they simply choose to not be involved in high level competitive sport? And if so why is that a problem?

  12. Ah yes, the unbiased BBC back at it again pushing their woke agenda…. give it a break, are there any physical reasons a gay person would be at a disadvantage in sport than a straight person? No. Is there a misrepresentation of gay people in sport or is it just that only the top 0.1% of the population make it to be an elite athlete and of that 0.1% a small minority are gay as that accurately represents the ratio of gay to straight people in the population? Just let people be people.

  13. Representation is the dumbest thing ever. And the idea the person you look up too has to have similar experiences is also stupid. You're an athlete who is gay. Not a gay athlete thats not a thing. You do the same sport as other men who are not choosing to be represented in your community or are not apart of the community. Your sexuality has nothing to do with the job. You wanna know why representation doesnt matter. You didnt have that person growing up and you still achieved your goals. Meaning represention is just a synonym for diversity quota so a mum can film her kid saying "they're like me" and post it on facebook. I miss when the saying was everyones unique so be the best you

  18. The NHS is in a terrible state partly because we aren't exercising enough. If this gets more people into sport then what is the harm? Just because it didn't inspire you doesn't mean it won't inspire others. So many ignorant, narrow minded comments on here
