  1. They are NOT going to guard the palace, which duty is ONLY for Commonwealth troops.
They may March together, but they SPECIFALLY NOT guarding the King or the pallace.

  2. Two World Wars, the British and French, have been allies against Germany, but there has never been any trust between the two countries, Infact prior to WW1 Germany and England were always close, The English are Germanic anyway.

  3. Why??? Sacrilege! Is this to get us used to accepting the idea of a European military force of the united states of europe? Perhaps? Mission creep. I don't buy the 120 year anniversary boll***s. 120 years is not a round anniversary number.

  4. That’s a shame! Brits, where do your traditions go?!? Franchement mais n’importe quoi!! La France une « république » avec une garde républicaine pour garder un symbole de la royauté que nous avons abolie chez nous?!?
    Vraiment un monde de tarés…

  5. In the future the world will consist of only 10 nations. Nations will combine. I think this is the beginning of that. This is explained in the book of Daniel and Revelation in the Bible

  6. Tourist: "I've always dreamt of seeing the famous English guards, with their funny costumes and long, black, bushy hats, finally the day is happening !"

    "Guard at Bunkingham: "Bonjour".

  7. Good to see these two countries despite many years of conflict in the past they still have each other.
Remember, the French imperial Guards considered to be the best during 18th century, but later on defeated by the Duke of Wellington with his Red Coat army together with the Great Prussian Army.
Nevertheless British and French now considered brothers.

  8. So we not only beat the Frenchies during the Napoleonic Wars but we heaped further humiliation upon them by stealing their hats.

How degrading that must have been for the French nation.

  9. The title of this video appears to be misleading. From what is understood, the French soldiers weren't actually being posted as sentries at Buckingham Palace. They were only participating in the ceremony. Right?

  10. Well de Gaulle is turning in his grave. He wouldn't even celebrate D-day, as he called it the new occupation. Now you have Macron hapily watching models of the battle of Waterloo when he's being invited to England, as the unfolding of the battle is being recited to him. De Gaulle or any self respecting leader would have left furious. Our own leaders don't respect this country, that's why we're heading where we're headed.

It didn't start yesterday, it's a constant of the twentieth century. We could celebrate the Crimean War or the Great War, not whatever this is.

  11. Okay, so we get the Coldstream guards, the ones that charged with bayonnets under cannonades at waterloo, overran Sevastopol, stood their grounds against the french in Egypt and Madhists in sudan and have been around for 400 years of continuous fighting for their empire.

And they get the Gendarmerie, the one that is hated by the people all around the country and whose only purpose is catching drunk drivers on country roads 😂😂😂

I'm sorry Britain, nothing personnal, but we'll keep your vets, you'll keep whatever we sent 👋
