If you are not convinced that Jesus of Nazareth was a true historical person you are on an equal evidentiary footing as someone who is convinced that he was.
All religions are man made creations to put fear into and to control the masses by a select few.
Just because a book says he existed doesn’t mean he existed, does Superman exist? No? Well what about his comic books?
He's absolutely disputed 😂 We know for certain the character of Jesus is based off of several old mythologies that long pre-existed him (like the Illiad, Dionysus, etc), plus possibly combined with several travelling doomsday preachers of the time.

I’m no expert, but isn’t the earliest historical reference to him by name from the 5th century? In other words, over six hundred years after he supposedly lived…

I mean, Jesus as a person could've easily existed but if he could actually walk on water, turn water to wine or cure blindness with a touch on the other hand is still…questionable.
