when your children when they leave home
you then only spend like a year of your
life with them oh no ever again and they
say you have 18 summers oh de and then
you’re lucky to see them oh dear oh my
God I know but it’s so terrible because
you wish so much of it away when you’re
a like busy parent you just go God or
you’re like shush or hurry up or what or
you’re on your phone or you’re cooking
dinner or something goes wrong or you

Amanda meets her match as she aims to turn the dark second bedroom into a country chic boudoir, inspired by the Tuscan sunrise. To help bring her vision to life, local friends Luca and Alessandro invite Amanda and Alan to visit their recently renovated 19th-century farmhouse, which motivates Amanda to brighten up the bedroom by borrowing light from the hallway.
Keen to create a piece de resistance, Amanda ropes in Scott to build a bespoke headboard and takes her first steps into the world of upholstery, while Alan secretly signs up to a painting masterclass with local artist Tony to surprise Amanda with a showpiece of his own.

In this financial climate ain't noone leaving home at 18 π
Kids donβt leave home anymore itβs too good there
If they want to be with you they would.
Get your kids to have children then you'll be in demand again. Grandparent duties keep you connected.
Depressing. My kids are my life.
Kids can't afford to leave home now what with the economy and job market in shambles and rent being exorbitantly high in so many places.
This makes me so glad Iβve always spent so much time with my parents. Even more with my mum since my dad passed almost 10 years ago
π Well its sunday, I'm gonna go for a coffee with my lovely mum
Rich people problems
What I'd do to see my mum again π’
Eighteen if you're lucku.
I didn't get 18 summers with my mother she died before the last one.
This is so true, my youngest is 18 now and it makes me so sad because we never got to enjoy her last sinner as a child and her 6 weeks off college last year because I unexpectedly ended up in hospital for months in July. We had so much planned, including a holiday for my 40th but she spent her summer visiting me in intensive care. Enjoy your children, they grow so fast and we never know how long we have, time and memories are so so precious.
Imagine being able to afford to leave home at 18 π
Dwight has a brother?????
So true Amanda, empty nesters, we got dogs, they are the best needy shitbags, from puppy to old age. Midnight snacks, toys, cleaning, barking back, car rides, endless hugs. I think I've spent more time and money on my dogs POV πβ€
This makes me sad because my mum couldnt wait till I moved out. We don't see each other much, she doesn't call or text and I just know that having me was a big mistake in her life. I'm an only child and I was her burden. I wish she could love me like other mums.
Itβs obvious they are not Latin.
Maybe in Europe. America? Yeesh! Iβd be lucky to leave rn
Don't live for your children
Makes me glad I never had kids
