Sydney attacker’s parents ‘extremely sorry’

I’m extremely sorry I’m heartbroken for
you I look this is so horrendous that I
can’t even explain it you you’re trying
to get me to give you an intelligent
conversation I can’t do it because I’m
just devastated I love my son I made
myself a servant to my son when I found
out he had a mental illness I became his
servant I did everything because I love
that boy to you he’s a monster to me he
was a very sick boy but he
wasar this is a parents absolute
nightmare when they have a child with
mental illness that something like this
would happen and my heart goes out to
the people our son has heard if he was
in his right mind he would be absolutely
devastated of what he has done but he
obviously was not in his right mind he
somehow had been triggered into a
psychosis and he’ lost touch this
reality

Parents of the Sydney stabbings attacker have apologised to the victims and said that their son was ‘a very sick boy’, adding that they are ‘devastated and heartbroken’ following the attack.

  8. The courts and doctors are letting people down
    It's happening everywhere.
    Please change the laws. People are dying in vain.
    Not the parents fault.
    God bless them and give them peace.

  19. God love that man, he seems to be a dedicated father ❤ I'm in Ireland, the mental health system seems to be a joke around the world! Wish this man all the strength in the world

  22. So sad for all involved. From what little ive seen of his family i dont blame them at all and can't imagine the guilt and pain they must be going through. Imagine the conflicting emotions i cant.

  24. Nobody can blame any father for such wrong doing over his son …. This man is sincere in everything he said …. Poor man is heartbroken for all victims and the loss of his beloved son …. Even if his son was a bad person

  26. Respect for the parents who came out to face the media… which is nothing but wolfs in bushes… very well said by the father, he loved his son but he was a sick boy… RIP each and everyone who passed in this tragic situation…
