Cat rescued after heavy flooding in Dubai
Dubai police rescued a cat from floodwaters on Wednesday (April 17) as the country hit by a rare torrential storm.
The video released by the Government of Dubai Media Office showed the cat clinging to a car door that was partly submerged in the flooding. One rescuer was seen separating the cat from the car door and placing into the boat.
Authorities and communities across the United Arab Emirates started clearing debris on Wednesday after at least one person died and homes and businesses were damaged in the heavy rain.
