Displaced Gazans head north to return to their homes

Displaced Palestinians headed towards northern Gaza on Monday (April 15) in an attempt to return to their homes following more than six months of an ongoing Israeli offensive.

Large crowds of people walked along the seacoast of Wadi Gaza in the Nusseirat camp area, which divides the north from the south, in the hope of being allowed to cross back.

Some people walked on foot, while others used bikes, wheelbarrows or donkey carts to transport their belongs and make their journeys.
