Buildings collapse, people rescued as powerful earthquake rocks Taiwan

A powerful earthquake struck off the coast of Taiwan, rocking the island and shaking buildings off their foundations in the city of Hualien.

Local media reported people were trapped in buildings in the lightly populated town, while video showed the quake shaking buildings in the Taiwan’s capital Taipei. Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration said the epicentre of the quake was 25km southeast of Hualien.

    the former President Ma Ying-jeou is in China eating, drinking and enjoying his life.

  2. Even with so a strong earthquake, the building Holds up and does not collapse killing everyone in it!
    Great buildings and laws in the country follow the procedures and you can see the results in hard times like this.
    Praying for Taiwan you will deal with the consequences! ❤❤❤

  3. I was in my work building in new Taipei. Suddenly it happened. I went under the desk. Computer screens, and other stuff were falling down. Scary and longest moments in my life.
