Bologna values Joshua Zirkzee at €60M and Inter will have to get creative to reach this price. First, Giovanni Fabbian could come into play. The midfielder is currently a Bologna player, but Inter has a €12M buyback clause active in 2025. This prevents Bologna from negotiating a potential higher sale on the 21-year-old. There is the possibility to renegotiate and even remove this clause if it meant lowering Zirkzee's price in a deal to join Inter.
Joshua Zirkzee likes the idea of joining Inter. Aside from being able to compete with the best teams in Europe, the forward feels his technical abilities would fit well with Simone Inzaghi's playing style.
Inter no longer seems 'set' on keeping Valentín Carboni and the Argentine teenager could be sacrificed in order to sign Joshua Zirkzee. The club would listen to any offers above €30M and there is 'confidence' in the possibility of soon finding a club that would pay that amount, potentially from the Premier League.
Additionally, Inter could use funds from players such as Aleksandar Stanković, Mattia Zanotti, Sebastiano Esposito or Francesco Pio Esposito.
Right now, Inter's priority for the summer seems to be to sign a striker.
