King Charles Makes Major Announcement on Return to Public Duties

Buckingham Palace has released this new photo of the King and Queen.

The picture was taken in the Buckingham Palace garden on the morning of 10th April, the day after Their Majesties’ 19th wedding anniversary.

The palace shared that Charles is ready to resume some public-facing duties and very grateful to his medical team for their continued care and expertise.

“His Majesty’s medical team are very encouraged by the progress made so far and remain positive about The King’s continued recovery”.

To mark the milestone, the King and Queen will embark on a joint visit to a cancer treatment centre next Tuesday. 

During their visit, they will engage with medical specialists and patients.

  7. Oh, thank the dear Lord! I thought it was going to be bad news when I heard there was to be an announcement from BP. My thoughts and prayers are continually for The King, Catherine and Sarah. And all those who are touched by that ghastly illness. 😊
