Hostage’s mum reacts to Hamas video

we watched it together with everybody
else and truthfully I mean the first
time that we saw it we were just
crying and not really listening just
hearing his voice not listening to the
content crying with relief that you knew
he was alive or anger at the situation
no there was there wasn’t anger it
was it was relief and heartbreak
that he looks obviously medically
compromised and
fragile um seeing his arm for the first
time since seeing his arm blown off from
the original uh abduction video um was
something I mean as a parent you know
you would never want to see that

Hersh Goldberg-Polin was taken hostage by Hamas on 7 October and they have recently released a video showing him alive and with a missing arm.

His mother told Sky News she ‘would never want to see that as a parent’.
