I have no idea what Lavrov said, all I know is that his thinking is completely twisted to make such a ludicrous comment to the UK. Russias terms of engagement: we own Ukraine because of some historical nonsense and while we claim what is ours Ukraine isnt allowed to fight back within our own borders, and its all ok if North Korea, China, and Iran supplies us with weapons. Ukraine is only allowed to sit there and lose.
I think that we've reached the point in time whereby we need another referendum in the UK. A simple one that asked the people if we should continue supporting Ukraine with money and military equipment. Yes or No. I suspect the majority of people would vote No because that money is better spent on fixing the many problems and challenges we face here. It seems that Cameron has been brought back in to stir up a wasp's nest and act as a catalyst for forging ahead with WW3. I say this, because when have you ever heard him wanting to facilitate some sort of peace deal and negotiations with the Russians? He appears to be hellbent on war, in my opinion. Who is he taking his orders from?!? This whole situation seems premeditated and orchestrated. And if the UK thinks that 3 Billion pounds per year worth of aid is going to make a huge difference on the battlefield and change the end result, then think again! Zelensky will still beg for more and more money and military equipment, because that's what he does. He begs and begs until you grow frustrated with him and begin to decouple yourself away from his corrupt regime. Zelensky will be gone by this Autumn and probably taken out by the very people who he considers his friends and allies. Nobody wants to be dragged into another world war and hence why I state again, let's have a referendum and let the people decide our future, because these so called politicians are making some crazy and miscalculated decisions and strategic faux pa's. All in my opinion of course. Other people are entitled to their own opinion. I'm anti war and that's the way I'll stay.
