The government said police and other officials were removing people from tents that first appeared about a year ago on Mount Street in the centre of the capital and moving them into accommodation.

  1. Is this because they don't want people to know the extent of this problem.???
Isn't strange that after this was aired on UK t.v . suddenly the police turned up to remove the tent's that have been there for years.
And of course these happy campers have all arrived from the UK .and not from the European union. Because of Thier open boarders policy.
After all they insisted that they had no boarders on any part of Ireland. How's that working out for republic of Ireland..
Don't forget folks that the Irish will claim that France has nothing to do with the amount of migrants that may have travelled to Ireland from there…
Perhaps they think that they just beamd down from outer space. ???

  2. Free the campers ! they were simply having a camping party ! such a shame, you don't encourage parties, and people having fun, and building communities

  3. a year plus… the towns people and the city let this tent village grow for over a year… not sure if i'm impressed on the length of negligence on part of the govt or disappointed… what else is festering under the nose of the govt.

  4. Out of the tents, into hotels – all paid for by the taxpayer. Thank you Irish government and their enforcers, formerly known as the Garda Siochana.

  5. I don’t remember it ever being legal and ok to camp out on public pavements. If people are breaking laws why shouldn’t they be moved on.

  6. Yesterday, 700+ made the trip across the Channel. Imagine if the UK had better weather: 700+ would be making that trip every single day of the year! That’s well over 250,000 unregulated, undocumented people we know nothing about p/y. If you drop a drop of red dye into a bath full of water, it doesn’t show up. If you pour a bucket of red dye into the same bath it changes it instantly forever. There’s much to be said for gradualism.

  7. The more migrants moving from UK to Ireland will strengthen the calls for reunification. If the British can’t control their borders in or out, the only way Ireland can control its borders is to have control of the whole island.

  8. Owen jones and far left be bubbling like babies they want tent city’s and multi culture they just don’t want to deal with the issues that come from it

  9. Lets hope they gave em somewhere else to sleep…its not like people love inherently sleeping in the gutter that were all scrambling for a spot.
These folks have few if any other plačeš to go, its not a choice to do so moreso circumstances that have forced it. As well we all know its at least better to be ina communal envoronment when things arent going well in life versus solo and alone, so one sees socioeconomically desperate people congregate.

All the best to getting things together and assistance for Ones future flourishing

  10. Ireland's people just like the UK were never asked or consulted before these immigrants were brought in and that's disrespectful and illegal this issue should have been brought to the vote of the people before the governmens did anything

  11. They ALL came through Europe first which are NOT war torn countries so why weren't they kept there because private companies owned by MPs and business men and women from abroad made HUGE personal profits going into their pockets rather than back into our countries financial pots lts all human trafficking in plain sight
