French bakers beat Guinness record for world’s longest baguette • FRANCE 24 English
sometimes size indeed matters as the rounded heel of their over 140 met baguette slid out a dozen Bakers and their supporters breathed a sigh of relief this was no Half Baked idea they done it starting at 3:00 in the morning the French Bakers managed to produce the world’s longest baguette and with it they were able to reclaim for France the Guinness World Record title more rules must be met than just the measurement the hygiene laws must be abided by locally the ingredients must be traditional ingredients used as well as the traditional cooking method for making a baguette finally it must be one continuous piece with no breakages since 2019 it’s Italy that held the previous title after team in Cuomo broke the record with a 132 meter baguette and that would not do for these French Bakers the emblematic baguette is a source of national pride as around 320 are sold every second in France so the French Bakers Rose to the challenge they used a bespoke oven for the extra extra long gooey but crusty thin bread sticking it to the competition the baguette finally measured exactly 140.5 3 m or 461 ft throughout the day the fear was that it would split into two pieces we had scares throughout we had to watch the bagette all the way whether during the rise in the oven or during the fall with a minimum width of 5 cm and a crackling crust the baguette which has had a UNESCO world heritage status since 2022 was sliced up some was given to charity and the rest slathered with chocolate spread was served to a very happy public
French bakers cooked the world’s longest baguette on Sunday at 140.53 metres (461 ft), reclaiming a record for one of the nation’s best-known emblems taken by Italy for five years.

2. World's longest oven.
Size has no scope to decrease .but increased with food and face
