Mr Trump is this true it was the most anticipated testimony of Donald Trump’s spectacular criminal trial Stephanie Clifford better known as stormmy Daniels told jurors about her alleged sexual encounter with the former US president the adult film star said she first met Trump at a golf event in 2006 where he invited her to dinner and later to his Penthouse she said the sexual encounter that followed was brief but left her shaking Donald Trump who was married at the time denies having sex with Daniels but in 2016 she was approached by his then lawyer Michael Cohen who offered her $130,000 to keep the story quiet the current case against Trump centers around this so-called hush money payment which prosecutors say was a scheme to influence the presidential campaign the former US president is currently facing 34 felony charges and his loyers attempt to push for a mistrial during stormmy Daniel’s testimony was rejected by the judge yet as he left the courtroom on Tuesday Trump remained defiant calling the case aoy to prevent him from hitting the campaign Trail testimony it’s a disgrace in the meantime I’m stuck I’m here instead of being in Georgia we’re not able to be there because we’re stuck in this trial which everyone knows is a hoax the case marks the first time a former US president faces a criminal trial but even if convicted Trump would still be able to run against Joe Biden in November’s presidential election
