British surgeon in Gaza speaks out as Israel offensive deepens in Rafah

people are scared people with this Rafa Invasion people are fleeing there is no hospital staff currently located at the European Gaza hospital it’s become the major Trauma Center for uh RAF I arrived here around a week ago what we found when we first arrived was that there were refugees surrounding the hospital with makeshift tents there’s around 30,000 refugees who are residing with in the European Gaza Hospital there was a severe lack of medication a severe lack of nutrition and a lack of surgical instruments with the Invasion from the Israeli Army into what we started seeing was numerous blast injuries gunshot wounds not to the chest but to the neck gunshot wounds to the limbs it doesn’t matter whether you’re a 75y old man or woman whether you’re 16 or whether you’re a child of 18 months we are seeing patients who have been burned from the skin right down to the bone with inhalation injuries that are so severe that patients cannot survive a patient I operated on had six pieces of shrapnel lodged within his bowel within his spleen within his liver and he was very lucky to even get off uh the table as you can see this is um um the electricity went off but we’ve got a power generator when you actually sit down and talk talk to to people who have been affected by this war you will hear countless stories of hardship this is not something that anyone should have to go through let alone a 21-year-old boy who’s lost his whole family a 5-year-old girl who has lost her whole family I am seeing it firsthand on the ground and this is something that I have never seen before and I do not wish this on my worst enemy

British surgeon Dr Omar El-Taji has been in Gaza for more than a week with medical nonprofit Fajr Scientific, working in one of Gaza’s largest remaining hospitals as Israel’s invasion of Rafah deepens.

The European hospital, which was founded by Unrwa with a grant from the EU, has limited resources and fewer local staff to deal with high numbers of patients being admitted with devastating injuries. ‘These people have gone through this for six to seven months now, they cannot go through this any more,’ says El-Taji, who is currently living at the hospital after the medical team’s safe house was evacuated. The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has so far rejected US pressure to hold off on a full-scale attack, claiming Rafah is the last stronghold of Hamas and that Israel can only achieve its war aims by killing militants and leaders in the city

  1. "British Surgeon" with an Arabic name and an American flag? he's a foreign agent who is trying to cause chaos in Britain.
Britain needs a foreign agent bill like they have in Russia & Georgia.

  2. Its all about money and power with the likes of the Israel, US and the UK. What about humanity, care and compassion, how hard can it be to show compassion?😢😢😢

  3. Israel, killing tens of thousands of civilians, restricting aid and making Gaza uninhabitable. One of the greatest crimes of our generation

  4. Why are all of these israel supporter look this video i mean they support automaticly this broadcast by clicking in this video 😂

  5. US has promoted this and if it were not for the elections they would continue to do so. UK is also complicit.
Perhaps they may understand what it is like if they had to live with the Palestinians for a month.

  6. The longer they allow this genocide to continue, the more hate there will be for all parties involved. I dont see how Israel or The US will be able to continue business as usual after this is over. There will be serious anarchy all around the world, much worse than we are seeing how.

  7. Please invite for once two economists who will explain to us how a Palestinian state would finance itself without any aid from the US an EU? The have zero economic self sufficiency now. How can a state with 6 children per woman and miserable average education form a functioning economy?

So please answer my question. How would a Palestinian state finance itself in a region without natural resources and a desert climate?

  8. Dark force use human sacrific0 to gain their power. We can stop wars by offering consolation prayers for war victims. There’s a temple called Shinnyoen where u can offer this special prayer. I’ve seen many miracles happen with this. They’ve branches around the world. We can manifest peace faster with this small effort. There’s no time left. Let’s do it. Namu Shinnyo

  9. GENOCIDE…"It is clear that Netanyahu is trying to drag the region into war to stay in power," Fidan told a news conference in Doha, more than six month

  10. The child orphans who lost their families in Gaza when they become adults they will attack Israel. That is why a military solution is not the answer, only a political solution is. Give Palestinians equal rights and you will see long lasting peace.

  11. Just watched two Israeli lawyers lie their way through a presentation to the International court in the Hague. There is something about these people that's not of this world.

  12. There would be no Hamas today if every leader was not selfish and there would be no Hamas today if the leaders were not bullies. No life would be lost between the two. What is really affected are the real civilians between the two nations.

  13. How come he didn´t say anything about Hamas hiding out in the hospital? He must know, they have space in all the hospitals, it is well known.
