Georgians protest in last-ditch effort to block controversial ‘Russian law’ • FRANCE 24

[Music] the protest is quite big tonight again probably 50,000 people and that’s quite big for for small country as as as Georgia uh they feel quite pessimistic finally and they feel that the the law will be passed probably tomorrow Tuesday and they said that they want to continue this movement is strong because since the months they are every day in the street uh it went up to 80,000 people um on the 1st of May for example so it’s quite impressive the determination is strong but in the meantime this um movement has no real leadership and they don’t manage finally to push the government to withdraw this bill and for example there is just rallies every day but they don’t manage to occupy the city to block the economy or something like this probably because they’re afraid also because of the the the the the model of what happened with with Ukraine after 2014 certainly but um the the movement is quite stuck at the moment but still determined and they don’t want to be on the Russian side of the wall let’s say

Hundreds of young Georgians crowded outside the Caucasus country’s parliament on Monday after a night-long demonstration against a controversial “foreign influence” law that critics say was inspired by repressive Russian legislation.

  1. U$A has the same law , but its policy is like …

"Itself can install lock for its house , but Georgia cannot install lock to prevent/protect/defend from U$A meddling "

  2. It's so obvious, the CIA itself must be ashamed of its lack of innovation. The same old "color revolutions", they're running out of tactics

  3. Exactly the same ways Ukrainians were also very keen to join the EU , now Georgians should wait for a while to see how Ukraine will be joining EU and NATO, later on they will be able to see more clear picture about their political fate 🤔🤔
