big thing about politics is you have to say something 30 times before your voter hears it for the first time can I jump in here cuz you have really hit on something that I’ve been thinking about when I compare the two parties and actually what starma team’s been talking about because when I say there’s nothing new in your pledges they’re like no because we have to keep telling the public again and again and again and again and again what we’re going to do and it is interesting the message discipline in the conservative party at the moment r i remember the Linton Crosby years he was the election uh Guru like he was a badass the which has literally become my little slogan to my own self when I’m like dissembling and all over the place I’m like Beth take the Barnacles off your boat Focus which was about not having anything extraneous that took away from the message but his other phrase that he always used which is actually more apropo in this position is that you can’t fatten a pig on the way to Market so actually you cannot in the last week of a campaign introduce something you’ve got to have laid it out 12 months before 6 months before
