Gaza ceasefire talks at ‘almost a stalemate’ over Rafah operation, says Qatar’s PM

right now uh we are in in a status of almost a stalemate uh of course uh what happened with ra has set us backward a little bit when there are two parties who want to agree on something you need to agree on on the Baseline first of all and I believe that what we are seeing there is a fundamental difference between the two parties there is one party who wants to end the war and then talk about the hostages there is another party who wants the host and he wants and wants to continue the war and as long as there is no any commonality between those two things it won’t get us to a result

Qatar’s prime minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, said ceasefire talks the Gulf country has been mediating between Israel and Hamas are at ‘almost a stalemate’ after Israel’s decision to conduct a limited attack on Rafah.

Speaking at the Qatar Economic Forum on Tuesday, Al Thani said: ‘There is one party who wants to end the war and then talk about the hostages. There is another party who wants the hostages and wants to continue the war. As long as there is not any commonality between those two things – it won’t get us to a result’

  1. I'd agree with the prime minister but his last statement – although he did not mention names – forgot to mention that Hamas is the party that does not really want to end the war but wants to end Israel.

  2. Ejecutan un genocidio en Gaza y qué pretenden? Que el pueblo calle? … No es antisemitismo, no confundan, es denuncia de las atrocidades de Israel

  4. Hamas accepted the deal. The ball is in Israel's court. Israel rescinded on the deal and chose to invade Rafah to continue committing massacres and war crimes on innocent civilians. The fact of the matter is that Israel is no fighting army, just kills civilians. Hamas is still intact, even stronger than before the start of the war, and the 7th Oct 2023 is reoaeted every day for the last senen months, costing israel billions and thousands in IDF lives. Israel has lost the war months ago. The war technically has finished, and Israel fallen flat on its face, allowing Hamas to inflict more wounds in Israel's army.

  5. Can someone please explain to me again why no European nation including the US wanted these people in their country before during and after WWII????? What did they know that we are now finding out???? 🤔 😢😮😢😢

  6. Shame on you; giving shelter to a terrorist organisation and thinking money can buy it all. But Israel will never surrender and they have my support from the Netherlands!✡

  7. 😂😂 If Qatar cared they would help at least women, children and elderly leave Gaza for Qatar temporaraly until war is over.
