[Reuters] Oaktree has no immediate plans to resell Inter. A source close to the situation tells Reuters, ruling out the possibility that there is already a buyer ready to take over the club from the US fund. Oaktree intends to be “a patient investor”.

  1. There was rumors that Oaktree wanted to purchase a club in Serie A a while ago.
    Maybe they actually want to keep the club and invest into it.

    Oaktree is actually owned by a Canadian company that manages close to a trillion dollars in assets.

    I see this going 2 ways. Either they keep the club and we become a powerhouse or they flip the club to the highest bidder.

  2. So they don’t have a buyer set in place and don’t want to jump the gun? Doesn’t change the equation too much

  3. They might want to invest to be able to get more than 1 billion in the sale.

    I wouldn’t trust them to heavily invest specially if there is no return on the investment
