police in Los Angeles have opened an investigation into the death of Matthew Perry the friend star died in October from acute effects of ketamin officials said at the time but this investigation will look into how he got the anesthetic ketamin found in his system he’d been receiving medically supervised ketman treatments for depression and anxiety but a report noted his last prescription was nearly 2 weeks before his death drowning was also listed as a contributing factor in his death which was ruled an accident it’s unclear how far along the investigation is or who has been interviewed as part of it

I thought this was chalked up as an 'accident". I mean, you shouldn't do something that could be dangerous when having medication (until you can manage them) e.g. driving, swimming, working at heights…etc.
It sounds like he accidentally drowned due to his medication, making him drowsy.
