China has deployed dozens of warplanes and navy ships off the coast of Taiwan as part of a mock missile strike.

The two-day tests were staged to punish Taiwan’s new president over his refusal to accept the island as part of China.

  1. China has the largest navy because it counts every last canoe as a naval vessel,china has 800,000 tonnes in its navy,America has 3 million

  2. What does Taiwan independence even mean? Taiwan is literally a rump state of the Republic of China which is already a sovereign state since 1912. Not to mention that the government of Taiwan is the continuation of the old mainland government after it was reestablished on the island of Taiwan following the defeat and retreat during the Chinese civil war. If anything, there is one China but that would be Taiwan.
