Sky News correspondent forcibly removed from Tory election campaign launch live on air

EV we had a conservative party launch this where the prime minister is going to speak in the next few minutes and I’m been forcibly removed uh we just simply wanted to have access tonight at Sky News uh but unfortunately uh we’re told that because there were pool arrangements in place uh we’re not allowed to be here this is by the way what we’re trying to film is the campaign event where the prime minister is due to speak in the next couple of minutes into the front of conservative activists is eventually trying to get across the message that we had in darning Street today from the Prime Minister talking about stability um I’m sure he’s going to talk about the decision he’s made um but as you can see we just don’t have access to it it’s not entirely clear why we don’t have access h to it but as I say this was meant to be the campaign launch for the Prime Minister for the conservative leader in front of party activists in front of those loyalists

Sky News political correspondent Darren McCaffrey was thrown out of a Conservative party campaign launch event on Wednesday live on air.

McCaffrey said that the party claimed the event was being covered by a pool camera which was supporting broadcasters with footage and therefore his presence wasn’t allowed. The clip showed McCaffrey being forcibly removed by a security guard as he attempted to explain why he was being kicked out of the building

  1. Bravo to the Security Sky loudmouth was given a sharp swift hand movement and melted into oblivion hahahaha hahahaha ended up talking to himself as he does

  2. Love or hate Sky News, it is despicable that the Conservatives did this. It undermines Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press. It undermines democratic values regarding free and fair elections and media scrutiny on the government and political parties. It goes against British and Western Values.

  3. “He should have started dancing and singing. “If you change your mind I’m the next in line” he mind of been invited onto the stage👏👏👏
