we’ve got some breaking news just in folks the US President Joe Biden has secretly given Ukraine permission to strike inside Russia with American weapons Mark Stone following the story from Washington now it is the American pressure president accepting that the um the situation on the ground has changed and accepting too that there is little question that Russia has the upper hand uh in this long long war that he would like to have been over with the Ukrainian Victory um some time ago the reporting at the moment uh is thin uh and it is um uh us officials talking to our colleagues uh at NBC news here in Washington saying that President Biden has secretly given Ukraine permission to strike inside uh Russia solely near uh the area of KHAK that’s Ukraine’s Second City uh in the Far East of the country right up near the front line uh with uh the Russian uh Advance um that is the only detail we’ve got at the moment but it comes after an interesting statement that Anthony blinken the US Secretary of State made just yesterday when he was in mova uh talking about Ukraine and he said uh that one of the Hallmarks of our support for Ukraine uh for more than two years now has been to adapt he said as the conditions have changed the battlefield has changed as what Russia has does has done has changed uh we have adapted adjusted and I’m confident we we will continue Contin to do that well what this is I think is precisely that is it is adapting to a a fast changing situation on the ground um it is now approaching um the height of Summer uh in Ukraine that is the best time uh for Russia to be able to advance it is also the best time weatherwise for Ukraine to be able to try and push back of course uh Dominic the dangers of this and the reason why hither to the Americans have been very reluctant to uh uh to provide Ukraine with weapons that would enable them to attack far inside Russia itself is simply that that would um potentially give uh the Russian president uh the ability to claim that America is attacking Russia proper uh to nuclear Powers uh the stakes would be would be very very high but this is certainly a a very big decision uh it’s big described as secret it’s hardly secret now a very big decision by the American president uh he’s talking as I say about areas around K remember the front line uh is very close to that to the east of the city itself the Russian border is only 30 or so miles to the north of karev so um the the distances are not great and what the ukrainians want to do is to be able to push that front line as far east as they can the further east they can push that front line the narrower the country is there and therefore the um the smaller or the the shorter the border that they would have to defend if they ever came to some some sort of resolution which would which would see them giving up some land

FACT: Ukraine needs absolutely no U.S. permission to use PGWs to defend itself (neutralize weapons, assets or degrade and deplete correlated assets of Putin's military endeavor) when been attacked, its an 'Inherent right'. If it involves non military targets or using non PGWs, thats forbidden and could result in civillian deaths and suffering, colateral damage to residences and commercial structures and war crime charges. To prevent retalitory action, all the invaders has to do is withdraw promptly and respect Ukraine's territorial integrity.
