Saw this little moth struggling in the grass so put my hand next to it, it crawled on and I put him up in a tree, seems quite content. A) any issues with handling this kind of moth and B) anyone know what type it is..?

Horsmakiitäjä or elephant hawk-moth ie. deilephila elpenor. Don’t believe there is any issue handling it other than potentially damaging the wings.
