  7. Only Malays in Malaysia are boycotting those American linked companies. For the other races, we are just redirecting our wealth to spend at cheaper options, in view that govt is increasing taxes, reducing funding for proper infrastructures. Not so much redirect of funds for Malays as they now eat at DFC, a more expensive option than KFC. So ya, to correct the stereotype that Malaysians are boycotting American linked eateries, nope only Malays do that.

  29. okay, then? we chose not to eat there for personal reason, plus these fast food brands are selling at a higher price compared to the local brand for the same or less amount of food. did you know, local brand burger was created back then because when mcdonald enter Malaysia, not many people can afford it and it still is now, not that the people really cant afford it but you're paying a higher price for less compared to local brand, why now that you care about this, things has been going on since forever

  31. Idiots are like sheep, they boycott but the ones who lose is Malaysian business owners , workers and foreign investors will look at Malaysian as extremist.

    Problem is there will be less jobs and effect own supply chain which the materials are sourced within Malaysia. These people are seriously stupid to boycott.
