Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey slips off paddleboard into lake

The leader of the Liberal Democrats, Ed Davey, slipped off a paddleboard into Windermere in the Lake District on Tuesday.

After steadying the board, Davey attempted to stand up but within a few seconds lost his balance and fell into the water. He fared little better after carefully remounting the board on his knees.

    I just hope the Lib Dems don't get anywhere near No 10, after the last time they were in coalition, the Tories conceded too much in order to be back in government 😐
