at the end of the day say what you like about Ed Davy and it’s been a campaign of two halves because we’ve had this sort of poignancy mixed in with some high jinkx and Japes and this idea of gaining attention for himself he raises a really good point about caring which will connect with a lot of Voters it reminded me a bit of looking after my mom actually completely different circumstances but she was a chronic alcoholic and I lived with her by myself for a couple of years it was really hard it’s really isolating and the authorities are sort of obviously it was known to my mom’s GP and things that she had a drink problem but they would have looked and said well her daughter’s with her so that’s fine leave them to it because they’ve got enough to worry about so you feel quite alone it’s thankless it’s a thankless task
