D-Day veterans share their memories on the 80th anniversary. #DDay #BBCNews
I’m not a hero the only heroes in any War are the ones that don’t come back chel wanted to deceive the Germans into thinking The Landings were going to be into the C era and this was going to be the most amazing extraordinary enormous Invasion had ever been in in history we had High Hopes the F was a night boats all in the sea hundreds and hundreds of them they were landing on the beaches and I could hear it and it made me very much aware of what was at stake I’m not saying you were frightened it had you on your toes and hope it wouldn’t get no worse you must always remember somebody gave their life so you could be what you are today

We have to give our lives to these brave men and women that gave us peace and freedom today. WE MUST NEVER FORGET THEM
I am surprised the woke and broken office of the BBC allowed this, but I am glad they did – War heros deserve respect
I get to talk to these people every day as their insurance agent. I LOVE serving military families every day. I can give back for everything our families gave.
If you know a gold star family- show them kindness today. Lord knows their loved one wouldve done it if they were here.
And here we are allowing the enemy to illegally enter this country without offering any resistance.
French A****les. BBC….
What a worthless and despicable organisation you've become.
War is evil, caused by greedy evil old dudes and the outcome is always innocent suffering, UK bombs are killing families in Gaza right now.. itβs no time to be celebrating war on any level.. sickening.
Thank you all The D- Days veterans.
That's exactly what all heroes say! πππ
