as I said yesterday at the American cemetery the uh Ukrainian people have been incredibly Brave never given up never staying never never even yielding and it’s impressive and uh you saw the reception you receive when everyone stood gave you a stand in Ovation and they deserve it you deserve it and uh you know uh you haven’t bowed down you haven’t yielded at all you continue to fight in a way that is uh is just remarkable just remarkable and U we’re not going to walk away from you I apologize for the those weeks of not knowing what’s going to in terms of funding because uh we had trouble getting the bill that we had to pass had the money in it from some of our very conservative members who were holding it up but we got it done finally and uh since then including today I’ve announced six packages of significant funding today I’m also signed an additional package for $225 million to help you reconstruct the the electric grid and uh and uh but once we got the National Security bill passed that uh was a political issue um we were able to get it all done and the way you’ve stood and holding on holding onine in car and uh you’re proven once again the people of Ukraine cannot and will never be overtaken and uh I assure you the United States is going to stand with you I’ve you said that all during this debate I continue to say it the United States is standing with you you are the bullwark against the aggression that’s taking place we have an obligation to be there and uh so I’m looking forward to having a detailed discussion with you about where we go from here but we’re still in completely thoroughly thank you thank you so much Mr President first of all thank you so much for your significant support you your Administration we are very thankful from all ukrainians uh to your Military Support financial support humanitarian one and of course it’s very important and our meeting here is very symbolic it’s very important that you stay with us this bipartisan support with the Congress it’s very important that in this Unity United States America All American people stay with Ukraine like it was during World War II how United States helped to save human lives to save Europe and we count on your continuing support and staying with us shoulder Tosh shoulder thank you so much and uh this big package which been signed it and supported and voted and uh it’s very important it’s so necessary for for this for the feeling of our people that we are not alone we are with you with our strategic partner and of course we I want today to to speak about strengthening of har region you said already it’s so important and your decisions been very very um had a very positive influence I don’t want to share it everything all the details with press sorry but I think there are some details on the battlefield which which you you you need to hear from us we thankful for this also I want to speak about Terror defense totally on our territory and we are thankful for participation peace Summit on the level of uh wise president thank you so much we think that we will have more than 100 countries and uh I I hope that it will be first step on this way to peace we need peace in Ukraine but we will stay anyway stay strong and of course I want to discuss some future events thank you again thank you thanks for watching stay updated about breaking news and top stories on the NBC News app or follow us on social media

    The casualty rate is horrible. When we deploy to the front line, everyone dies within 10 hours. Everyone in my squad was wiped out except for me. Soon after, Russian reinforcements arrived, but they were also wiped out immediately. There was no one with combat experience. The superior officer just ordered us to charge without thinking. There were corpses in every basement.
    The smell was terrible. The battlefield was completely different from what I had imagined. The Ukrainian army used armor-piercing bullets to shoot through the walls we were hiding in. The enemy was completely merciless and had an incredible attacking spirit. Anyway, the number of drones in the Ukrainian army was just too much. After a few reconnaissance drones arrived, the attack began. All we could do was lie down and pray for it to end quickly. At night, they blew up the whole building, and during the day, drones entered through the windows and exploded. We, the Russian army, launched an offensive three times, but all failed. Even if a tank comes to provide support, it is immediately detected by the drone and destroyed in the blink of an eye. The Polish-made mortars are troublesome. They make almost no sound until they hit the ground. There are Cubans, Indians, Nepalese and black people here, but they all run away immediately. No one helps each other. When I was in the Chinese People's Liberation Army, everyone helped each other, but it's different here. No one can be trusted.
    I was blown away by a bomb, but my body armor saved my life. I'm currently recuperating. Just to let you know, "we, the Russian army cannot win this war".
