all right attention the Australian Army wants you if you’re from the UK New Zealand the us or Canada you could become the latest Aussie troop the Army says it needs more recruits because of growing Regional threats so it’s opening its doors to other countries to help grow its ranks from July New Zealand Nationals who are permanent residents of Australia can join and from next year that will expand to recruits from the UK and other countries including the US and Canada so can anybody join well not quite you have to meet certain entry standards and security requirements you must have been a permanent resident of Australia for over a year and must not have served in a foreign military in the previous 2 years and you must also be available for Australian citizenship this is something which will be offered and expected to take up after 90 days of service defense minister Richard miles also added the changes to eligibility requirements were essential to meet the nation’s security challenges through the next decade and Beyond

  15. Canada is accepting almost any body because the government has underfunded everything to do with the armed forces. No Canadians want to join anymore.

So… Australia wants to recruit people who've lived in Oz for a year but who never joined their home country's armed forces, and you're only extending that option to wealthy Anglo-Saxon countries, and therefore wealthy Anglo-Saxon kids with absolutely no interest in joining your armed forces ?
