NIGEL Farage had “cement” hurled at him in a shocking attack on the election campaign trail today.

The Reform UK leader, 60, was pelted by a yob in Barnsley town centre on Tuesday while on an open top battle bus for his party.

  7. For all the talk of "far right" extremism. I never see anyone from the "far right" doing stuff like this. Maybe the far right doesn't actually mean anything. Maybe, and I'm just spit balling here. It's the FAR LEFT that is causing all these problems.

  14. Throwing stuff at him only gives him more of a platform, so defeats the object. And its wrong because it could well be a caustic/toxic substance and be a real danger to his person or anyone else it hits.
    BUT…… he had tried to twist the narrative on what everyone has seen. It was one man throwing first a paper cup then some rubble. He says it was an extremist left wing mob throwing cement……. which it obviously was not!

  26. I know there's plenty against this man, me I don't know this figure at all, but based just on this clip alone his reaction seemed quite rational and even patient. Though behind closed doors who knows how these things trigger people. Like the orange man in the u.s. some think he may end up being the one to turn things around lovem or hatem. So hopefully this doesn't turn Nigel into a vindictive dictator of some kind and then actually win.
