As the 27-month conflict drags on and fewer volunteers show up than in the early going, Ukraine is under pressure to mobilise additional forces. The draft age was recently decreased to 25 and mobilisation procedures were strengthened by the authorities. Men may be called up if they are 60 years of age or older.
