Accusations of antisemitism against ICC are unacceptable, says EU foreign policy chief

a lot of thing has happened on the last days in particular the prosecutor of the international criminal court sending to the court uh warrant for against Netanyahu and Gan and three leaders from Hamas that’s an important decision from the prosecutor and I want to say that uh we have to respect the work of the international criminal Court we have to respect the work of this institution and let the court without intimidation to decide what they think about this initiative of the prosecutor and happily it’s not the case the prosecutor the court has been strongly intimidated and accused of anti-Semitism as always that everybody everyone does something that Netanyahu government doesn’t like I think that the accusation of anti-Semitism against the prosecutor the international criminal court is completely not acceptable the word anti-semitic it’s too heavy it’s too important in order to use it on these occasions and still more important is the ruling of the international court of justice which is the core of the international Justice in order to act above the national level is at the core of the United Nation Charter and here again we have to express not only respect but to ask for the implementation of the decision of the world and happily what we have seen in the immediate hours is that Israel continues the military action that has been asked to stop also Hamas is launching Rockets against Israel well so both sides doesn’t respect the ruling of the world this morning happily more than 30 people has been killed in a refugees camp in an attack H this is really a dilemma how the International Community can make implementable can force the implementation of the decision international criminal justice or no not the international court of justice

Josep Borrell has said a ruling by the international criminal court ordering Israel to halt its military assault on the city of Rafah must be implemented, adding that accusations of antisemitism launched by the Israeli government were ‘completely not acceptable’.

The EU foreign policy chief called on global leaders to respect the decision of the ICC last week to file applications for arrest warrants for the Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, and the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, a move that enraged the latter.

  8. Why should Hamas be expected to stop its rocket fire fired in self defence- when its Israel whose been committing ethnic cleansing & land theft for 76 yrs not stop?
    Why the 'both siding' of an genocide when its clear who is the oppressor & who is the oppressed?
    Why are the rights of Palestinians to defend themselves not recognised particularly as they are the one whose land is illegally occupied by Terrorist Israel?

  16. Israel has been accusing the UN of "antisemitism' for decades. Anyone or anything that opposes their atrocities, collective punishment and other illegal , rogue behaviors is deemed "antisemitic". Also anyone who helps or supports the Palestinians in any way is deemed "antisemitic".

    THE SO CALLED "ICC" (INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT) HAS PRESENTED UTTERLY FALSE ACCUSATIONS, BASED SOLELY UPON THE PORPOUSLY DISTORTED AND UNVERIFIED DATA THAT IS COHERENTLY CONSISTENT WITH ITS OWN PRE-CONCEIVED AGENDA.
    THIS MORALLY ROTTEN INTERNATIONAL COURT MUST BE DISMANTLED !!!

  26. 😂😂😂 Are they talking about the same court which exclusively has only persecuted African and Eastern European genocidal dictators ! You have to be super terrible and commit horrific actions for ICJ or ICC to bring charges against a US ally

  29. Who are you and how have you “investigated” decide? Where were the court proceedings? So now you guys can control the world? Which president is next? Why don’t you issue a warrant of arrest also for Irans supreme leader?

  36. These judges are one way blind. Instead of looking at the cause, they are focusing on the effect! They should first ask the Egyptian government to take action to release the hostages who are kept in Egypt by Hamas. Once that is done , then Israel should be asked to stop war!
    Otherwise , iCC is an unrealistic organisation ,better be made history.
