on many of the machines you’ll be able to program the recorder to switch itself on and off to tape your favorite programs over the 2 weeks you’re on holiday when I saw a VHS tape in the script I had a rough idea um because of like the older films but I’ve never used one um and I don’t know how to use him to be honest

When it was not illegal to copy and record your favorite shows and save them for later..Now everything is illegal and charged for profit..

Ye gods, forget the tapes, thos stuck around for decades. Our first VCR had a remote attached by a cable, and the channel buttons on the front had to be set individually with a little dial, then labeled with one of a set of preprinted numbers on little plastic squares that slid into the spot above that button.
Lol ,still have our vhs record & some Doctor Who tapes 😂
I’m even older. I remember when you rented a vcr player from the shop you rented the tapes from because the players were too expensive for most people.
